Re: I shed tears when I found out the news...
The morning of Dec. 8th was my last day of "rock music in history." and we had to do a report on one of our favorite bands... I did Pantera. Woke up the next day to my friend saying "Yo, that dude you liked "Dimebag Dallas" was killed last night, put on CNN." It was wei...

Re: Mayhem, Keep of Kalessin, Hate, Abigail Williams
Mayhem usually lines up U.S. dates then cancels. They fucked up a great tour in '09 W/ Marduk, Cattle Decap. & Cephalic Carnage... Those greedy assholes wanted more money from each club, then throw a fit when it didn't work in their favor. Mayhem died with Euronoymus.

I ain't going to see this shit. I don't care for any of those bands enough to go see them. I don't need to be in a stadium filled with a bunch of loud mouthed jerkoffs chanting "slayer" and "metal-lica!!!" No thanks.

Re: Maryland Deathfest IX
I don't know if anyone's actually going but the club it's located at, Sonar Lounge, has been shut down. Damn shame because it was a great place for it. I'm not sure of any better place in Baltimore for it. Damn that sucks. That place was actually located pretty well, or so I thought. The overpass a...

Re: Vince speaks his mind on Phil
Maybe it was a good thing that Dime passed when he did... Damageplan was good, but it was mediocre at best. We wouldn't want Pantera to do a reunion and then start putting out shitty albums and disgrace the name of the band that we all grew up with like Metallica did. Phil woudn't have done a shitt...

JFAC sucks and are awful live. They seem to be a band that got signed to soon, riding the wave of the "deathcore" scene...which is slowly fading away.

i'm surprised they played "message in blood" in 98. You would think that Regular People would have been atleast played here and there on the Vulgar tour. They also should have played "Shedding Skin" more.

most of everything thing you hear (metal wise) is triggered on record. i understand it as far as recording goes. saves time and time = money, plus no going back to punch in weak hits. however, it does bother me it see it used at a live gig... i think that's total bullshit.
