I have two HM-2 pedals. Unless you have a noise suppressor and an EQ to put in a chain with it, I wouldn't recommend them. And Jeb, don't get a 7 string. If you're just playing at home (especially if it's not your own home) I would recommend a low wattage valve amp like this, with a good distortion and EQ pedal
