After 21 years of playing all kinds of music, and of course worshipping my namesake?
I AM FINALLY FUCKING WORTHY of an extra upper and lower string!
I primarily play rhythm, but have been cracking the leads...I can't fucking wait to see what's available to me with the extra range. My hands are large so the thicker neck shouldn't be much of an issue at all...

I dunno about that (and I just noticed the model in question is a leftie), and I am NOT left-handed.
However, you should check out Rand Burkey's work from the first 2 Athiest albums. Get this. The motherfucker is a leftie but plays a rightie guitar flipped upside down(!!!). WTF. WOW.

never said it was original...in fact appears to be carrying on the trend.
Yet somehow, I don't think the esteemed Mr. Hendrix (like most rock players) could just step into a death, speed or grind band and play. Much less a progressive one like Atheist.

Holy shit, how original.
I like big black men.

You will get frustrated with it, and then all pissed when no one wants to buy it. Make a lamp out of it ASAP.

And why exactly would I change my name to "Schmeagle"?[/b]

right now, the technical nigger in me wants to run the fretboard...but if this is anything like trying to incorporate the low string on my 5-st bass?? Ehhhh, we'll see. Shit, bands like Grave have been detuned for so long the low string was practically a loose rubberband and it sounded brutal as fuck.
I'm a sucker for the low riffs that bands like Ihsahn's, Fear Factory and Scar Symmetry do. But hey I've already got like 10 guitars, what's one more?

Hendrix restrung right-handed guitars upside down so the orientation was normal. Rand Burkey, Dan Sawno, etc. actually play upside down so the low E is where the high E usually is. And that's some cool shit.
Love too often is only a dream
If I am harsh and unkind to myself
So I share these attitudes with you
That was my point Sky, before the jerkoff factor kicked in amongst the peoples....there's always some random dickhead that shows up at each party in life, and is escorted out....unfortunately there's no e-bouncer here...
Always thought Burkey playing an upside down right-hand strung guitar was fucking insane, considering the riffs and shit they come up with and play..

I think I was getting ahead of myself, Ungodlike...I think the 2 extra strings are bass string tuned, beneath the low E. The top string is still the standard high E on any other guitar...
