Why does Dimebag's guitar have that very distinct sound? Kinda like a screeching, and it also sounds heavier and chunkier. Someone told me it was because of the pickups he used. behringer mixers are ok when doing a live show but i wouldn't record with them, they aren't the quietest mixers made. and for ANY studio monitor, if you're serious at all, you know that you pay for what you get.

IMO H. Peavey should stick with manufacturing amps. his guitars kinda suck, plus you'll find that the 1/4" jack will crack and die out on you in 1 month

The only solid state amp I've ever played that I like is my randall rh200. It's just fucking GOOD.

btw, if you're looking for the ear spliting distortion, check out all the 80s model AMPEG solidstates. the model i'm thinking of is 150 watts and can be bought for about 200 to 300. Soilent Green uses this amp and it's NASTY and has bite
