If Phil were to any project I'd say Down. Pantera has released enough good albums and I think it ended at the perfect time, despite how exactly it ended.

u can't compare them cause they are 2 different styles of metal, with different influences, u could compare them as far them being Phil projects. But as far bands, they're just to different. To say they sound the same is asinine

NOLA is a really good album but no way. I wouldn't consider it a classic. VDOP, FBD, and TGSTK are classics.

i'm not saying down is better than pantera. I'm saying Nola is a better and more complete album than anything pantera has produced.
