Anyone here use Cool Edit Pro?

Okay, so I'm trying to record vocals and shit, and I have to put the songs I made into the multitracks.

But, I import them into the program, put it on the multitrack, and it plays just a few seconds of white noise, instead of actually being what it's supposed to.

What the fuck is this shit?
