Seriously. Well anyway, as far as plane tickets go, best to just get some online quotes. It won't be cheap from the states though.
it won't be cheap either unless you fly out of Atlanta Bodom J, and even then...
you're best off flying into Hamburg, Germany. you also want to get there a couple of days before so you can get used to the time change and make sure you don't get lost.
looking on expedia, flying from Atlanta, Ga on Aug 3rd and leaving Aug 8th from Hamburg, Ger you would end up paying about $1300. and that's just the flight. if you are seriously considering going I would go get your passport in order now. it can take a while to process that bullshit sometimes.

Its worth it just to see how surreal it is to be looking down on the clouds

Wait till that bad dad starts bouncing around like a ball when you are up there. That'll shrivel up the scrotum for sure.
I'd like to be able to go back to Europe soon, especially Ireland and Holland. But I've gotta put new windows in the house, get a new fence, and have the driveway repaved. Fack.

details!
Well for the last 3 Wacken's the crowd has got bigger and bigger and you aren't gonna get a good spot anymore if you arrive wednesday morning. And this is the only thing that annoys me about this festval. I hate having to walk for 25 minutes just to get back to the campsite. 03 and 04 we got to camp really close to the main arena. 06, 07 and 08 we've been fucking miles away. So were going to join the traffic on tuesday at about midday and just stay in it till they open the campsites monday morning. From what I've heard everyone just gets drunk overnight in the queue

Yeah we where near where you were. And thats the only benefit of being near the back is that it's quieter if you want to just chill out for a bit. But its like a 40 minute round trip there and back from the main arena which is too much hassle. And it's also waaay too far away from the beer garden.

Yeah man! I booked mine today Good thing too. I think the reason it ain't sold out yet is because a lot of people are waiting to see who's playing. I expect it to sell out before january.
