To actually warm up, just a bunch of improvisation with a drummer/metronome.

when i first pick up a git the first thing I play is some origin riffs, like the aftermath. they get your fingers in a good spot quick

and although most of you dudes arent big on classical, this is my #1 song to get warmed up quick with

i've been playing the new Alice in Chains song, Check My Brain a lot lately. I also love playing SOD's March Of The SOD. So easy, yet heavy as fuck.
