I like more of the sinister-sounding electronic music or something that has an atmospheric vibe. I really enjoy when electronics are combined with live instruments in interesting ways. My last couple of projects (and my current one) were experiments in doing this. My electronic-jam band was short-lived, but I'm happy doing what I do now.

As for the Floods thing, that was pretty much the only time Rex actually stepped out of just doing unison riff shit and actually did something.

I enjoyed his stuff more in Down than in Pantera.

In spite of the popular misconception that states "Digital instruments aren't real and require no talent", electronic music is more difficult to produce and requires far more technical knowledge about music theory. Guitars, on the other hand, are set up so any idiot can play them. Having studied and played many different kinds of music, I have to say in all honesty that Metal is by far the easiest style to write and play.

No. The only thing I ever said is that to me, what I make is harder than Metal, and furthermore, ANYTHING I've ever tried to play is harder than Metal. not really. you're just using a blanket preconception of metalheads and applying it to us saying 'you wont like it because you're close-minded.' i listen to and appreciate a LOT of music, but what you have created is dire. i play guitar to a standard slightly below what might be considered average, but i don't prefix every song i play in front of someone with the statement 'oh if you don't think i'm any good i'm actually a lot more talented than most pop stars.' that's all you're doing. your songs are the emperor's new clothes of music.
