neck position
when sitting down and practicing, i have a tendency to play the guitar at almost a horizontal angle; perhaps ~10 degrees above. i feel this helps me see what i'm doing better than the more angled 45 degree position one uses while standing. however, i know i'll have to get used to the other way to play standing, plus the "standing" position seems to put less strain on my left wrist. should i continue to practice in a way that's "easier" for me and that i'm used to until i get better, or immediately start practicing the other way, even if i'm not as accurate?

Having it at an angle is beneficial because of this:
First off, if you plan on playing in a band and are NOT Robert Fripp, you're going to have to get used to standing and playing anyway. Playing it at an angle will also improve your ear because you will be forced to not look so much. It's also better for your wrist and better for developing muscle memory for situations where you won't be looking at (or can't see) the neck, like playing live.
