What sytle of metal do you listen to? Bands?
I have heard of all theses types of metal like, Old School, Speed , Thrash, Death, Hardcore, Rap metal, and the fucking list goes on and on and on. I have been watching some of you post for a while and i respect your opinions. I love all kinds of metal man, but i am gravitating towards the rap metal now becuse of the natural flow of it and how the lyrics and groove of the guitar are closely related. I guess you could say the style is kind of like slipknot/mudvayne. Its fucking got groove man, anyway what are you guys fucking grinding on recently?
Suck me

I'd say I like more metal elements than metal bands.
Mastodon is cool, though.

I always listen to my pantera records. I've outgrew my death and black metal phase. I do listen to some death metal, but it's the talented death metal. Warhead dime's got me into testament.
Lately i've been listening to some other bands i've passed up before... like Racer X, Jason Becker, Al Dimeola. And my cd player and computer is usually playing Van halen, Priest, Jackyl, Pantera, SBU (Band i'll be teching for full time next month) Skid Row and Randy Rhoads era ozzy.
I like to find new local bands on myspace, though there isn't many bands who have something new to offer.
One band i really like from around here with a cool sound is Motown Rage. They are Metal with a cool rap vocal sound. One of their songs were on watch it go, and they opened for pantera at least once as far as i know.

As far as metal goes, I've been listening to a lot more death metal (old and new) than I usually do.
Hate Eternal, Death, Vital Remains, Decapitated, Disincarnate, Morbid Angel. I used to be a big fan of some of these a few years ago, but for a long time I didn't listen to much death metal, if any at all.
Most of the time with metal, I listen to thrash metal and groove-oriented stuff. Like Exodus, Testament, Pantera, Sepultura, Megadeth.

Maybe not as serious as my username would lead you to believe. Those aren't the only bands I listen to, of course, but these are the ones I have on my MP3 player and have been listening to lately.Lando Griffin wrote:woah woah woah...wait a minute!
