Post by Shred-Dimebag »

i just heard about this although i havnt heard it before, seems like one of the best amps. im thinking about buying one eventually, and was wondering what should i get? thte combo or make a stack.what about the settings.?
i saw a thread on the warhead stack and i guess that was just a dimebag slapon market shit thing, but i want his sound. im not getting a warhead if u think thats what i ment.

Get your own sound

5150 has one of the best distortions available for that price, but the clean channel isnt amazing, its not the worst ive heard but below average.

If your just a bedroom guitarist get the combo, if your thinking of recording any semi proffesional demos with bands or playing bigger gigs and think you need a decent tone then get the stack.

I thought tht 5150s had a lead and rythm channel, both intended to be distorted, rather than clean and overdrive channels?

i can get my 5150 very clean, by keeping the rhythm channel gain at about 1, and adjusting the volume accordingly
