Reccomendations for an amp in a dorm?
I am just about to move into a dorm here the next two weeks and I really have been meaning lately to get rid of my Crate practice amp. So I would like something that I can still use my headphones in my room, but if I jam with other people I can still cut through somewhat. I have narrowed it down to these three
1. Orange Crush 30R
2. Line 6 Spider 30 watt
3. Vox AD15VT
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Can't go wrong with a Vox, but those things are pretty loud, even the 15-watters.
I'd probably go with the Spider for dorm jamming.

Nevermind I am getting the Vox AD30VT, I tried it today and it ruled
Can get loud and quiet as shit thanks to it being able to adjust between 5 and 30 watts and the amp models are actually good sounding.

I recently bought a Vox AD30VT myself, it's pretty nice, but it doesn't get too much heavy distortion. Then again, I haven't played it on anything other than standard tuning yet, and that may be the problem.
Either way, you can get a halfassed distortion pedal for about $40 that will work pretty nicely, but I'm sure a down-tune will fix it.
These puppies can get real loud though with just a twitch of the switch, so be careful in your dorm.
