thanks, didnt rex use spector basses at one time or another?


Is this schector bass worth the money?

Choose a bass because you like it, not because Rex, Geddy or Lemmy played it. In my opinion the Schector is a bit over priced, but they are decent basses, a little "bright" sounding for my taste.

And yes, Rex played a Spector, they have a Rex signature bass.

i mean i dont know a whole lot persay, but i checked out a few other schectors and epiphones, fenders etc. but nothing appealed to my taste.

I bought a Schecter Elite 5 String for $600. Reasonably priced, and I love it. Perfect bass for metal. I'll be throwing in some Active EMG's soon.

I wouldn't bother with those Dean basses. I played the explorer looking one and it was HUGE. I think they're just there to appeal to guitar players. Cheap and they look like their guitar counterparts.
