I have been wondering if it would be a good idea to try a reverb or chorus pedal with my leads. Do any of you do that?

a chorus effect can give your lead a nice smooth tone that cuts well. but only if you don't use too much.

reverb works well to smooth it out, but like stated before, you should only use a little, not drown your tone with it. If you're looking to cut through..it needs to be eq'd differently and have a small boost on it.
