Vocal exercise help
Okay, right now I have been working with a band on the vocals nothing serious for one reason 1. They want a full time singer and I am moving to Austin in four months. Anyway, my vocal style is based off of (ripping off) John Garcia of Kyuss/Slo Burn/Unida/Hermano. Anyway! When I still try to sing with the band I lose my voice afterwards. Any vocal exercises anyone can recommend?

scales, scales, scales, and some more scales. go "uuhhhh" in a monotone voice for long periods of time, and increase the octaves every five minutes or so to loosen up your throat to get your vocal chords warmed up to what you're going to be singing. Other than that, drink plenty of water
