I have an Ibanez 5-string bass and 7-string guitar. They're decent instruments. I used to have a Jackson Kelly a long time ago but that thing is annoying to play even though it was probably the best neck of any guitar I ever played.

I have an Ibanez SA120. Been playing guitar for a little over a year, been told it's a good starting guitar. I've been very happy with it.
