in a band but still in need a permanent singer, we have a singer but he isn't that good. our lead sings some songs and i do too.
we played a couple of shows recently, nothing big. 2 shows and we had an hour on stage each time. we played some covers and some originals. we played at parties with other bands aswell.
got really good reception on both shows during and after the set. our last show the crowd was moshing and throwing stuff around and somebody got hurt. we were the last band to go on and the manager of the 'venue' had to shut us down 6 songs in.
we been together for a few months and have 9 songs written already. during the summer we hope to get recording done, IF we can get some studio time. if we do i will get some on the net for the board.
new equipment? nothing really new, i got a used (abandoned) ibanez rg series. it was gutted so i put sperzel locking tuners and seymour duncan sh6's in it, did all the wiring myself. first time for me.
the guitar is sounding pretty sweet but the finish still looks like shit. hoping to get something done to it in the future
