Floyd Rose or The Edge III?

I have an Edge III tremolo system which is pretty fucking impressive/awesome. Since it is my first floating tremolo system, i beat the shit out of it for 3 days before i actually played a song.

The real question is, what's the difference?

I've watched a few Steve Vai video's and it seems like the Floyd Rose( which he uses obviously) is much more reactant and has better drops and chops and i noticed it can stay in one spot without it falling back down ?? whatever, I've also heard that the Edge III is actually smoother then the Floyd, I wouldn't know.

Which one is actually better? Do you have both and which do you pefer?

I'm fairly sure Vai uses a tremsetter to keep his bridge in tune.

I've only used FR's and Kahlers, I prefer Floyds but thats probably because I've used them longer.

i have locking nuts on mine and so does he, but i thought that would keep it in tune, whats a tremsetter?
