I was 15 or 16 and in 11th grade. I went from Metallica's black album and Korn's Follow the Leader to that, and then Metallica's master of puppets and Slayer, but I can honestly say, 101 Proof live, with "A New Level", my intro to Pantera, was the first music that honestly kicked my ass into the ground.

If you can't bench her, don't fuck her.

I was about 13 or so when i first started to get into them. They where the band that saved me from limp biscut and Korn. Previously to that i was little pop pusher who only listened to So Fresh followed by Eminem when he was big. I remember at that time a friend of mine would sit up the back of class and listen to Pantera on his old school cassete player while the rest of us sat and talked about the new Eminem show Album and laugh at him for not likeing it. Man i wish i could kick my year 5 ass.
FUCKING HOSTILE!

Back on the '86 (yeah.. motherfucking nineteen eighty goddamn six
) my Uncle made me listen a bunch of heavy metal songs.. and one of them was Out for Blood.. I instantly fell in love, and I fucking sucked his cock. I must've been 7-9.
