Morley little alligator volume pedal

Post by Wrona »

Has anyone on the board used or owned one before?

I've just ordered one today with the intentions of using it for swells. One intro to a song i play with my band starts with a clean part with delay sort of van halen cathedral-esque.

Do you think i will be happy this pedal or should i consider a different pedal?

Also, the reason i ask is that a few h.c. reviews make me wonder if it's not the right one to buy.

That is what i've been doing, but using a pedal would free up my picking hand. I sustain my chords untill it repeats, slowly turning down the volume... and once that is said i hit another chord. Ahh shit i would rather post a clip but i have no way to tonight.

Are the differences in volume pedals really all that big?

I have a Morley volume pedal with an adjustable sweep control. Seems to do the trick. Good for cello swells.

dude, i've tried the pedal. it sucks. the control is non-linear, meaning that it's very hard to precisely control your volume. plus, it sucks the tone out of your guitar. i returned the pedal and got an ernie ball vp jr. instead.

Hey man, where did you have the pedal placed? Before the amp, or in a effects loop.

Now i can see why there are so many negative reviews... most of them are because they put it in front of a distorted amp, and sure many people wouldnt like that.

Well the pedal sould be here by monday. I also got a few components to mod my delay pedal for warmer sounding repeats. Cant wait to get some packages at the door step.
