hell yeah, just bought a new guitar (w/pics)

Well I only played it for about an hour yesterday because i arrived late at night when i got home and an hour in the morning before going to class, but i was very impressed with the bridge. I was fluttering and diving/raising it alot to test it out and it stayed in tune impressively well! I'm gonna go play...

The wife went away for the weekend and I went fucking shopping....

traded my Gibson T-bird in and got a Sweet Musicman Stingray, then went to another shop and unloaded my Fender Jazz aerodyne on a nice swap for a new Spector Performer Series. My wife took the camera with her when she went out of town, but I'll post a few pics when she comes back with the camera.

I played the Geddy Lee signature the other day at the Guitar Center. That thing is nice.

I had a Geddy for about 6 months, I unloaded it. While it sounded nice it didn't compare to my US Jazz and as a back up to the US Jazz the sound was too different to use a back up.

Here's the 2 new ones...The Stingray sounds great, The Spector is my home practice bass now, much better than the Aerodyne jazz and half the price.

That five-string jazz looks pretty sharp. I like the look of the Ray but I hate playing those things. It only sounds like one thing and the necks are like baseball bats.

Just asking out of interest. Why don't you practice with the instrument you're most likely to play with the most?

Most times I leave my 3 stage basses I use for shows at the studio where I practice with my band, The Spector I leave home for learning songs, practice and shit like that. I drive a Jeep Wrangler and it's a pain in the ass to get 3 basses in/out of it every practice and show, our sound guy/roadies cart all of our shit in a van, so I just have to show up with my bad self. One of the advantages of being old and having a decent income.
