I am sure I am not the only who thinks this but Gibson has lost its ways since the late 60's. I mean it went from Ted McCarthy to a beer company owning it, to now a lawyer. Plus some of the worse guitars I have seen come out of the box lately has been Gibson. To me, the Japanese are catching up with guitars, and I think Gibson will have some competition again. This time they will not be able to put a trademark on the LP, SG, V, or Explorer design to make themselves sleep at night. I will not sound like a hypocrite though, if I was able to find a silverburst for a reasonable price, I would crap myself.
