With one Down record in the mainstream media, Darrell thought he could do the same. Damage Plan. This failure of a band would of never been recognised if it weren't for the names. Eventually upsetting Pantera fans worldwide, one Question was on everyone's mind at a certain point with Down and Damage Plan.

''What the fuck happened to Pantera?''

Well, that one is easy. They had something going, and decided to go different ways. With that being said, if Pantera just would of concentrated on another album for the band, instead of doing worthless side projects, Darrell would still be alive along with future Pantera recordings.

You basically just called me worthless for calling you names, but now you're the one doing it.. :lol:

First of all, when you have a band, you don't plan on making a master album.. after writing the songs you realize it is. If you try hard to make a kickass solo, extend one or just add a bunch of punching notes, you're a faggot, you're going to be forcing it and it's not going to sound good.

It looks like Phil got bored of doing always the same shit.. and he left. Down wasn't a planned band.. it was just a bunch of musicians jamming, nothing special, and you tell me how it is mainstream when nobody has heard of it.

Same with Damageplan... instead of waiting for Phil to call and ask good ol' Vin and Dime to make another album, they made their own band.

So what the fuck happened to Pantera? The Kid killed it. You don't underestimate the kid, you're fucking crazy if you do. :x

Pantera broke up only because of the extreme amounts of drinking and drug abuse they went through. End of story. :zzz:
