so i play guitar.. now how come everyone i know with a bass is too pussy to play anything on it besides scales. i pick it up and thrash around like it's a skinny guitar with fat strings. is this a problem? isn't this how cliff played? also i use my fingers.

I have an acoustic bass already. A 300.00 Ibanez that does the job well.
I liked the looks of it and bottom line, Ovation doesn't make junk (well, the Applause stuff is) but not the real Ovation.
