He'll never match the chemistry and cohesion he had when writing with his own brother ... at least, I highly doubt it. They had so many years together to collaborate.
But it would seriously be nice to see him pick up on the right foot again, work wise, as Phil seems to be doing.
Phil's never lost his momentum as an artist.

I think Vinnie could provide some excellent guidance to new bands with his experience, as a producer. Man what a dream it would be to work with Vinnie Paul, for any of us im sure.

He can't take RMR on the road when one of the members isn't alive. That would be lame. That would be like Axl Rose trying to take GNR on the road without slash.. or any other original member for that matter...croninburg wrote:He wants to take RMR on the road doesn't he? I doubt he'll do much more music. I just can't really see it happening. He's a pretty one dimensional player, he was perfect for Pantera but I'm sure he doesn't want to try to recreate that style without Dime. I expect he'll go into production.

I agree...but a lot of people who make music dont always listen to the style they play...what if he's looking for the next Kiss or something?dead forever wrote:I think Vinnie could provide some excellent guidance to new bands with his experience, as a producer. If you have read any of the recent press Vinnie's done, you'll know the
answer to that question. For those who don't know...Vinnie's trying the
whol record label thing right now.In his words "He has to find the right
situation and people in order to play again."No it will NEVER be PanterA
again but at least he will still play, and if he doesn't we still have PanterA,
Damageplan,and Rebel Meets Rebel.Smoke whiskey!!!
