Club on Abrams?

Post by Notbound »

Pantera used to play a club on Abrams in Arlington, Texas. I remember it being called "club Mongo", but I'm sure it was something before that, when they played there. This was probably back around 92. Does anyone know the name of it? I've been trying to relive memories of back then, but way to many beers and brain cells dead since those days. haha :)

Did they play there when it was Cheyenne Saloon or Club Mongo? Cheyenne Saloon, doesn't sound familar. I do remember a band called "Double Cross" that used to play there, as well. Those were the days of great metal! Even remember ol' Hard Bodies down the road. :) The only thing I could find on "club mongo" was a ebay auction for a Type of Negative video that was shot there. After Club Mongo, I think it was changed to a Tejano club.
