Guitar players who play great but cant play

My brother is a typical example for that he plays guitar for abaut 2 years
has a perfect left and right hand control but no clue how to make his own music he just shots out abaut 150-200 notes per minute but it sunds like shit and the only scale he knows is the major pentatonic.

well tere aint much more abaut it but but i think that its pretty sad that some one with this tehnical talent just plays by tabs and cant make something by himself.
I have just the half of his tehnical skill but I just couldnt stand it anymore to play only te things that someone else wrote (because he said that I couldnt play) so I started to improvise I learned some scales then I started to learn guitar teory because I just wanted to know scales are constructed and now I know a pretty bunch of scales, chords and a big improvisation skill but I still wish that im as good as my brother when it comes to speed and acuracy

i know a guy that plays heavy shit but all the stuff he plays will never work in a band. he has been playing for 8 or 9 years but dont know how to follow a drummer. all he does is just shread as fast as he can and the drummer is walked all over.
