It's time for me to buy some decent cables, And tomorrow im ordering a mxr 6 band eq, a power supply, and 2 long cables and 3 pedal cables.
Does anyone use these dimarzio cables? I know they are not the best i could buy, but they are better than the ones i've been neglecting my sound with.
They say "Low capacitance". Which Bill Lawrence said to look for when buying a new cable.

Dont bother with the new MXR 6 Band, get the older one from the late 70s/early 80s ,it gives you a hell of alot more gain. And trust me this thing adds to your gain.

The thing about the old model is that it has no bypass.dead forever wrote:Dont bother with the new MXR 6 Band, get the older one from the late 70s/early 80s ,it gives you a hell of alot more gain. And trust me this thing adds to your gain.
Im sure that if the new model doesnt satisfy me i can change the components inside... im pretty handy with the solder iron.

As a matter of fact i have to make my boss delay a true bypass. I can hear that damn thing when i'm playing at rehearsal volumes by myself.
