Even having been stationed in Iraq for the past year, the most tragic news I've seen or heard was of the death of the guitar God Dimebag. Recently I watched the video Phil made and was deeply touched. But at the same time crushed. PHIL if you quit and go hide then you let the media bastards you hate so much win. Spend some time to mourn the devastation. But come out with an album dedicated to the man. The Dimebag Reunion album. As a tribute to his life and accomplishments get all of his guitar friends (Zack Wylde, Dave Mustaine etc) that loved him so much, together and make the album of all albums and rub the medias' and the critics' faces in it. Even better, merge Damageplan and Pantera together. Rex and Vinnie do the usual and let the other living guitar legends take his place in all of his favorite songs. Fuck you could even make a Panterapalooza type tour called Pantera's Damageplan and take back over the world that is heavy metal again. Take back your throne and kick some ass!

The only person responsible for Dime's death is the kid who pulled the trigger. Not Phil, not anyone. This guy had a vendeta against Pantera for years, if it hadn't been a Damageplan show it would have been a Pantera show. Phil killed Pantera, not Dime.
