Intro Effects/techniques

does anyone know how to get to intro sounds to the following songs:
(on guitar)

Cowboys From Hell (in background from 0:00 to 0:17)
A New Level (widdly sounding bit from 0:00 to 0:03)

and the screechy sort of thing in Suicide Note pt2, how do i do that? (you cant miss it)

Intro to new level : Pick scrape, just have to get the motion right

Intro to cowboys from hell : Light flanger, loop, open e string (low obviously)

Suicide Note Part 2 : 2 octave setting on digitech whammy pedal, powerchord.
