So our other guitarist and myself are considering switching to 7 strings instead of playing detuned 6 stringers. I like being able to do low, bendy, single note stuff and still have the higher range for leads (plus, come on, 7 string sweep arpeggios? fuck yes). Recommend me some good, reasonably priced 7 strings that aren't Floyd Rose-equipped.
and before anyone calls bs on the 7 string arpeggios, no, I can't do them yet. All either of us can do is 5. But the thought of having yet another string to sweep across is delicious.

on the other hand, schecter has alot of good 7 strings without floyds.
