Im picking up my charvel soloist tomorrow and i might try this if anyone does not advise against it.

Normally you shouldnt feed a guitar string thru your tuner posts and use the end of of the string without ball-end in your floyd rose. It could creat burrs in the post.

I was looking thru one of my parts/junk drawer and found a set of Fender bullet ends. I think it could be allright to feed the the tuners on a floyd setup, 2 or three windings around the posts and to the floyd.

Anyone think this isnt a good idea?

Yeah. you can do it just make sure you dont send the truss rod through the back alley, nah meen?
