What is it that Phil says every time at the start of A New Level in a live situation?

Nah, he's def. saying something. I have a video of A New level live (Not sure when or where) which features Scott Ian of Anthrax, and he takes the turn of saying the same thing which Phil usually says.

No, it's on the official live album. After the main riffage at the start and when it (should go) silent for a few beats.

And another question, when and where was the official live album recorded?

it wasnt one gig, if you look at the booklet it says "Recorded in 1996-1997 'Tourkill' in USA"

He says Pantera but the way he screams it is muffled and he doesn't say the end, kid of like "Panter". It's pretty obvious that's what he says as he always says "somethin somethin Pantera blah blah" at most shows I've got bootlegs of.

I reckon we're talking about different parts here.

Official Live 101 Proof Album - A New Level.... 58seconds into the track.

It sounds more like "Strue Straynjin" (Although it does not say that, just sounds like that kind of thing...) to me than "Pantera".

It sounds like he's just counting.

I think he's talking about the intro, right before the main riff kicks in.

Though, if he's not, then yes he counts "two three four" right before that faster riff comes in with the drums.
