But I saw him on a local access cable channel, he did an in studio performance for a classic rock station here...That was the first time I had ever actually seen him play. I was pretty fuckin impressed. There was some riff cheesiness here and there.. but overall

Yeah it's pretty nice. If you played it, it might be kinda of weird at first. But it was normal because all of my Guitars are scalloped.
are all of yours scalloped on the whole neck or just the higher frets?
If its the whole neck, then how long did it take you to get used to doing chords?
All of them are fully scalloped, except for my ESP Hanneman w/ Kahler Trem and S-Key inlay, that has the 20th through 24th scalloped. It takes a little while to get used to playing chords without pressing harder on one string and making the chord go out of tune, etc.

Damn I bet that took alot of time, wow you even combined an old comment with a new comment....nice touch...
Satriani's lighting effects are messed up enough to give anyone a seizure. Especially with that guitar that's like a mirror . I thought Vai was more interesting live though. How they had all 3 guitarists fretting for eachother while picking.

Totally.
Fripp was gash. I went outside for half an hour (As did most other people) while he played his shitty elevator music.
Yeah me too. I thought it was the build up to the show because i couldnt see him from where i was sitting, but it went on for about 35 minutes. It stopped and Vai comes on and says Robert Fripp Ladies and gentlemen. Jesus he was awful.

Yeh what was all that about? Hiding behind all the backline and shit. He was such a poor performer, it may as well have just been a CD playing. Utterly pointless.
