Reading through this forum, I think I saw that at least one person here has one of these. I'm in the market for a new guitar and this one caught my attention today. Didn't have a chance to play it yet, but I'll be doing so within the next few days.
I believe both the body and neck are mahogany. It comes with an original Floyd Rose and EMG pickups. Cost is $899. Should I be concerned about it being made in Korea? Any opinions on this guitar would be appreciated.

Abalone inlays and binding on the body and headstock:
Body and (set) neck are mahogany. Body has a quilted maple top. The fingerboard is rosewood. The pickups are EMG 81/89 and both can switch between humbucking and single coil. This is my first experience with active pickups and I'm really liking the variety of tones I can get out of these. The tuners are by Grover. Pretty impressive for only being seven fiddy.
I think I got exactly what I was looking for. I'm really happy with it.

The hellraisers are nice. I just bought an Omen last week (couldn't afford the hellraiser) and I'm loving it. The stock pickups are shit, but I swapped out the bridge pickup for an EMG-hz.
much harder to do and more expensive than binding too! that thing is badass, i never actually saw one in person, i would so want that thing. great job!
Levi i have the Hellraiser C-7 that same exact finish (black cherry) but with a fixed string-thru bridge and EMG's.
Gorgeous guitar
Got no pics of it, but heres some of my last purchase, Fender Strat. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=38287
I'm prolly through buying any more musical equipment. Might even get rid of the Schecter down the road.
I play a Schecter Omen-6 (a dual coil) and I'm very happy with it.. got it used for $200. But I don't know about this one. I guess the Floyd Rose somewhat explains the price.

I think they've pretty much always been produced overseas...Sick guitar though...I approve.

I can build you a strat with emg's and a maple neck. By jackson I am assuming you mean there are no contours to it, which would actually be much more simple.

I should have spent the extra money and bought one with a floyd rose, but I didn't feel like putting up with the bullshit when it comes to changing strings, you still playing this guitar much Levi?
Yes, and I love it. My next guitar will probably have a fixed bridge (so I can change tunings more easily), but I can't imagine not having the versatility that comes with a bridge like the Floyd.
