Based upon their awful new album, I can't understand why soundgarden would be worth seeing live these days. Chris' voice is pure shit now. Suffocation and Exhumed would be very cool though.

Its not even Suffocation anymore. The dude from Decrepit Birth is doing the vocals on tour, but the dude from Dying Fetus is doing some dates. I think he might at the Texas shows actually. Mike Smith doesn't even play for them anymore. Soundgarden is very cool and I would like to see them though.

I thought Frank Mullen was doing the vocals on all the dates with the exception of 5 that will be done by John Gallagher. Dave Culross is awesome, but Mike Smith was absolutely incredible. His skin is so dark all I saw was eyes and teef and 2 drumsticks bashing the kit mercilessly.

I think Frank only does shows around New York. He doesn't tour anymore. Kinda stupid that he still records with them but won't tour.

i saw Suffocation in feb or march. the only thing i heard was the drumming. the drummer uses triggers turned up all the way, drowning out everything else , but at least he played well

That is nice. I don't care. I hear bands more on album/record than I do live, much like most people so I"m going to judge them more on how they sound on albums. Judging by their awful new album, Cornell's voice is gone.
