line 6 spider III

this is the greatest solid state distortion amp i have ever heard. the two distortion channels are modeled after mesa dual rectos. an impressive clean channel and a sweet classic rock sounding "crunch" setting. i bought a 15w cause i would never buy anything more than that for solid state. next time you're in guitar center or whatever music shop you go to try this thing out.

I just picked up the Line 6 Spider valve, the tube head designed by bogner.

fuckin balls

those spider 3s are pretty sweet too, but I have heard of a lot of people having a lot of problems with the electronics.

I had the 1st and 2nd versions of the spider. Had the spider 2 in head and cab model. Fucking terrible hissing sound when turned up loud. Impossible to use for giging.
