You're going to get ripped by a bunch of assholes. A squier strat is a good beginners guitar, but if you want something more tailor made for metal, get an ibanez, jackson or esp. Save up and buy something second hand from your local guitar shop.
While it is possible to play metal on a Strat, you will need to change the pickups to make the sound fit anything "extreme" sounding. If you use the whammy bar a lot, a bridge switch would help greatly. But since it's a Squire, unless you're really attached to it, don't bother with any of these mods. You can buy a double Fat Strat if you really want to play metal with a Fender Strat...or go with a "Super Strat" from Jackson/Charvel, Ibanez (*cough* can't belive I suggested that... ) or an older BC Rich.

Are you like 13 or something? Being a good headbanger doesn't give you a shred of talent, insted of posting on here, making threads, you should be practicing on your squier and your 30 watt amp.
