played a nice show last night

it was a basement show, but it was fucking awesome. it was the first show that i've played my bass at in a long time and GODDAMN did it feel good. got a lot of compliments from almost everybody who was there. some guy said to me "damn dude, you play bass like I fuckin' sleep at night!", and another dude said "i play bass too, and goddamn, you make me look like I don't know what I'm doin. I should just look at it from now on". I got a ton of compliments as did the band. I forgot how much energy it took to play a show, man. it felt fuckin' good though. music really is the best therapy! next show Forced Asphyxiation is playing is in Worcester Massachusetts with Ernie's band, !!!TENTACLES!!!, so anybody in new england or new york should come out and support local metal and yer fellow PBBer's bands.

i think i prefer to play basement shows over other venues. the sound is so sweet and i think they're more fun to play honestly. whatever man. let's fuckin do this

that's a must in my brain right now. i have a whole bunch of financial bullshit flying around right now. hopefully one of our bands can play a show close to another or on the same bill and make it a bit easier. plus losing my license is gonna suck balls too.
