MAYHEM To Tour North America In April - Jan. 25, 2010

Norwegian black metallers MAYHEM will embark on a North American headlining tour in April. Support on the trek will come from LUDICRA and TOMBS (with KRALLICE on select shows).

The dates are as follows:

April 07 - Washington, DC - 9:30 Club
April 08 - New York, NY Fillmore - Irving Plaza
April 09 - Cambridge, MA - Middle East Downstairs
April 10 - Montreal, QC - Les Foufounes Electriques
April 11 - Toronto, ON - The Opera House
April 13 - Chicago, IL - Bottom Lounge
April 14 - Minneapolis, MN - Triple Rock Social Club
April 15 - Winnipeg, MB - Royal Albert Arms
April 16 - Regina, SK - The Exchange
April 17 - Edmonton, AB - Starlite Room
April 18 - Calgary, AB - Republik
April 20 - Vancouver, BC - The Commodore Ballroom
April 21 - Seattle, WA - Studio Seven
April 22 - Portland, OR - Hawthorne Theatre
April 24 - San Francisco, CA - Slim's
April 25 - Los Angeles, CA - Henry Fonda Theater

MAYHEM last year announced the addition of French guitarist Silmaeth (ex-VORKREIST) to the group's touring lineup.

MAYHEM's current live formation is as follows:

Necrobutcher (a.k.a. Jørn Stubberud): Bass
Hellhammer (a.k.a. Jan Axel Blomberg): Drums
Morfeus (a.k.a. Krister Dreyer): Guitar

i wouldn't go see them live since I'm not too familiar with them. the only album I have is chimera or whatever but it is pretty good. grand declaration of war sucked ass. a nice concept but too much filler.
