Bloodstock Open Air (UK)

This will definitely be one I will be going to because I can get a lift, and it's less than an hour away. The line-up so far:

OPETH, DIMMU BORGIR, HELLOWEEN, AT THE GATES, SOILWORK, PRIMAL FEAR, OVERKILL, MOONSORROW, KATAKLYSM, TYR, SWALLOW THE SUN, ELUVEITIE, CLOUDSCAPE, COMMUNIC, EVILE, SAINT DEAMON

With more to come. It's obviously not going to be as nuts as Wacken and such but finally, a decent festival here.

15th, 16th, 17th of August, so I expect plenty more decent bands to play.

Yeah Bloodstock is well worth going to now that it's managed by Wacken's management team and doesn't just book power metal bands. Wouldn't mind going this year.

Oops, I meant get a lift, although hopefully I can buy a life at one of the merch stands

Didn't know Wacken people run it now, nice one. I have hope for a pretty cool line-up. Looking at Catton Hall, it looks a bit suave for a metal festival
