Dunlop Crybaby question....

My setup for basic home playing is Guitar>distortion pedal>crybaby>amp Now, when I have my distortion pedal on and I turn on the wah, it has a muffled sound when the pedal is angled all the way back, is their any way to make it sound normal as if it wasnt on, and still use the wah when pushing down ...
