I have a Korg tuner in my rack and it's pretty nice, and I use it for bass and it tracks fast and accurate. The DTR1000? I just have a plain ol' DTR1. Works great though! Use cuticle remover cream and keep your cuticles pushed back off the nail. Two things to try. Slather the hell outta your hands with vasoline and cover them with tubesocks before you goto bed. Buy one of the hot wax dips and use it a couple of times a day for your hands. if I had this kind of time....
