i have a randall colossus 300W solid state head playing through a randall 412, i just got the cab for it today and for the hour or so i spent jamming it was glorious. i turned off the head to tune my guitar and when i flipped the switch to turn it back on....nothing. im thinking, well hoping rather ...

Oooor, you could do what the majority of normal folk do and pay for a rehearsal room each time you want to practice. Good gear, good setup, good sound, not too expensive (For us works out at £5 each ($10) for 3 hours practice). as ideal as that sounds, i know of no services like that in my neck of...

Dime's tone takes a lot of crap now for being OTT, but that's what he was, that's WHO he was. That tone was an extension of himself. There was a lot more mid on VDOP and TGSTK because he wanted a thicker, more brutal sound. If you scoop your mids, you need to push the volume higher to ensure you do...

If you want an honest opinion, I think the keyboards are too prominant in the mix. Keys, especially organ sounds, are real obnoxious frequencies so they don't need to be pushed forward. I don't know how much loss you got from a rough mix to a myspace site, but the drums sound kind of flaccid and th...
