You should take a picture without flash with a nicer camera.

That looks like a guitar I'd pay $300 for, not $1,200.

Re: Electric Drumsets
Haha, nice expansion. What's the pedal to the right of bass drum though? It's a cheap hi-hat controller. You can rig it up to play just a regular sound when you step on it (like a cowbell) or use it to control another hi-hat remotely (if you want to play open-handed) with another brain (I used a se...

Re: Electric Drumsets
Roland is pretty much the standard. I have a high-end Yamaha which I love, but the pads aren't as nice as the Roland. I just didn't want to shell out another $2,000 for the Roland. Do you have any updated pictures of all your gear by any chance? Just the old ones. But I haven't updated any gear in ...

Re: DOES it matter if the drums...
Something I noticed from the first video; when the guy goes out into the room while he's tracking, you can hear pretty clearly the drummer is hitting the kicks with a decent amount of force. I play electronic drums exclusively now, but having tracked real drums before, kick drums always gave me a ha...

Re: DOES it matter if the drums...
Consider without triggering a lot of drums are compressed as fuck these days so that differences in dynamics are all smoothed out anyway. "Perfect" sounding drums sound fucking stale to me. Listen to old Zeppelin records and Bonham's foot is far from perfectly static with every hit, but it...

I decided to record two songs with the studio's P-bass and it sounded awesome. I kind of want one now. TOLD YOU SO!!!!!! Well there only a few applications where that sound is useful to me. But where it is, it's pretty much the only sound that fits. so bitchy. do you have a significant other...

is there anything good on it? like the speaker? I dont know, it will turn on, I've checked the board and there are no burned resistors, it just will not play any sound. As a matter of fact I think the speaker is okay. I've been meaning to delve into it deeper, just haven't. Power transformer, methi...

Re: finally getting a bass stack
I'm obviously buying some used equipment to save $$$$ I'm looking at this cab: http://www.classicacafe.com/Content/Peavey_Classic_400_Tweed_w_810TX_Cab.asp the guy is selling it for $350, I think that's a good deal for an 8x10. Ultimately I'd love to go with Ampeg but I don't think I'm gonna find a...

If you have areally noisy guitars, the NS-2's are pretty useful. I used them a lot in metal bands I played with. You just have to watch the sensitivity because it will cut off your notes if you have it set too strong. I've always like Dunlop wahs. Morley makes some cool ones too. I wish Electro-Harm...
