You can't afford Pro-Tools, unless you are really rich or something. Look into Cubase and other Steinberg products.

i just downloaded fruityloops off limewire, i havent recorded anything yet, but the drum machine is fucking awesome i had plenty fun making up old school rap beats too

I have a copy of Logic Audio Platinum 5.1, it's a great program, for fucks sake do not fork out the money for one of these programs if you can get a pirate copy!

i need one thats not to complicated, but can turn out some good professional shit. i use a mac by the way

Pro-Tools is a bit more than just software.

cubase is good, that's what i have. it's relatively simple but still gets the job done perfectly. it's also far more cheaper than some of the other high price programs.
