drum machine, so try to ignore how annoying it is. It's just me and my guitar so it's pretty minimalistic.

Well, it didn't suck.. Your tracks are tight, that's for sure. Black metal has to have a substantial melody or hook for me to enjoy it, so personally speaking, it didn't do much for me, but I'm only speaking as a black metal layman.
What really bothered me, though, was the saturated high end fuzz of the guitars.. it sounded as if it came from a MetalZone pedal or something.. What did you use to record it? Was the tone intentional?
All in all, I think there's potential there..

Yeah the tone was intentional. If you're looking for more melody, he's a second one:

I should also say that the pauses in the second track are where a traditional instrument is gonna be recorded. Don't know the name of it in english but it's a european speed picking instrument

Fruity loops is a good program for drums. My setup is pretty garbage. Gibson Explorer voodoo, with an average Fender amp

(100w). I'm not the greatest with tech talk.

do you mic the amp or do you plug it in through?

Toronto canada. I don't really care if you you don't dig it considering you're a Marduk fan. Just kidding, I appreciate the criticism. Marduk is terrible though.

Yeah it cost me a bundle. Supposedly they don't make them anymore so they've gone up in prices, and its heavy as hell

I know it's sloppy and all that, but it'll be better if/when I get an actual group together. I'm still young, and my songwriting skill is really amateur, so the responses Im getting are actually much better than expected
