I still really like the Marshall jcm800 after all these years i still think it's the best.
The fender dual reverb amps are great too.
It's all a matter of personal taste.

i haven't played half the amps i'd like to and even then you're not getting a good feel for the amp by playing in the store with master volume @2

the new mesa amps can't compare to all their amps made in the 90's. if your gonna buy a mesa buy one that was made any time in the 90s.

I don't know what the best is because I don't have 100000 $ to spend testing various models. However, the new Crate Blue Voodoo fucking crushes much ass.

I have yet to try the Stiletto, but the jsx has pretty decent dirty tones, really flexible, and the clean channel is so glassy, which makes for handling pretty much every distortion pedal i throw at it, My one complaint is no reverb, i could throw a digital reverb pedal in front but i like built in reverb much more.

i have a genzbenz eldiablo and love/d it,. it just broke and im finaly sick of fucking around with tubes, they cant handle being thrown around in the back of a van or plane flights or whatever. this is my 7th amp in the last 4 years so im just settling for solidstate now.

Triple X is a good amp, good for metal among other shit. The xxl is shit.
