When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay
Eh, I guess it can work, but what is the point of having a headstock?Disembodied wrote:When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay
I cant say many bad things about it besides the whole tuning process (like you have to unhook the saddle, use an Allen key to loosen the screw holding the saddle, move it up or down, etc) for changing from note to note.Sheldon wrote:I like that, damn
I like your bridge pickup too
How's that Speedloader been to you? I've heard some good and bad things about it.
Because guitars without headstocks look fucking ghey, and BC Rich's strongpoint (or one of them) is appearence.hektik wrote:Eh, I guess it can work, but what is the point of having a headstock?Disembodied wrote:When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay
Sounds like as much "trouble" as a normal Floyd Rose, except when it comes to string changes.Disembodied wrote:I cant say many bad things about it besides the whole tuning process (like you have to unhook the saddle, use an Allen key to loosen the screw holding the saddle, move it up or down, etc) for changing from note to note.Sheldon wrote:I like that, damn

Its been real good to me, though. I tend to have a curse and I break strings every 3-4 weeks on any guitar I have, so it really helps me out some times.
Other than that, it stays in tune really well. And stuff.
The problem is I have a totally shit Samick practice ampSheldon wrote:Sounds like as much "trouble" as a normal Floyd Rose, except when it comes to string changes.Disembodied wrote:I cant say many bad things about it besides the whole tuning process (like you have to unhook the saddle, use an Allen key to loosen the screw holding the saddle, move it up or down, etc) for changing from note to note.Sheldon wrote:I like that, damn

But that's a damn cool axe. I like the finish a lot.
Got any sound clips of you playing it? Especially on the bridge pickup.
Thank you my dear friend!aeon wrote:nice
That won't happen once you learn how to play.Disembodied wrote:When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay

Their custom shop King V's are unbeatable.Chewbacca wrote:Thats a nice looking B.C.Rich. I've played a few and at one time had an Iron Bird, but Jackson still gets my vote.
I may look like Carrot Top, but you're still a sloppy player.Disembodied wrote:Says the Carrot Top look alikeBassPhemy wrote:That won't happen once you learn how to play.Disembodied wrote:When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay
He's just being childish. You're a beautiful Gwyneth Paltrow and that's all I'll hear of this.BassPhemy wrote:I may look like Carrot Top, but you're still a sloppy player.Disembodied wrote:Says the Carrot Top look alikeBassPhemy wrote:That won't happen once you learn how to play.Disembodied wrote:When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay
Just because I pop a string every 3-4 weeks doesnt make me nearly as bad as someone who resembles the human embodiment of annoyanceBassPhemy wrote:I may look like Carrot Top, but you're still a sloppy player.Disembodied wrote:Says the Carrot Top look alikeBassPhemy wrote:That won't happen once you learn how to play.Disembodied wrote:When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay
I guess I should counter with a visual representation:Disembodied wrote:Just because I pop a string every 3-4 weeks doesnt make me nearly as bad as someone who resembles the human embodiment of annoyanceBassPhemy wrote:I may look like Carrot Top, but you're still a sloppy player.Disembodied wrote:Says the Carrot Top look alikeBassPhemy wrote:That won't happen once you learn how to play.Disembodied wrote:When you break strings as frequently as I do it comes in pretty handy!hektik wrote:speedloader = gay

Actually I only usually break the A string every 3 weeks. Its not a pain in the ass at all, at least to me. It really stays in tune if any string happens to break, and it takes seconds to switch it. I rarely have to re-tune/balance the whole thing unless the bottom string breaks.hippy wrote:if you break so many strings why the hell did you buy a guitar with a floyd? must be a pain in the ass rebalancing.
No, its cool. I just have a curse where my A string seems to pop all to frequently on any guitar I own. Never any other string it seems.hippy wrote:word, i love my floyds but i probably have broken 3 strings in 5 years and i play near 3 hours a day but no band
Very useful info, thanks OutlawSheldon wrote:I emailed Graph Tech a few weeks back and asked if they would make String Saver Saddles for Floyd Roses. I got a reply back saying they were working on it and hope to have it out by Feb.

I thought so. I don't know if they'll be making ones for the speedloader bridge though. I'm just glad they finally got one for the normal Floyd. I have a set on my RR's bridge and I only broke 1 string in over 3-4 years, very useful upgrade in my opinionDisembodied wrote:Very useful info, thanks OutlawSheldon wrote:I emailed Graph Tech a few weeks back and asked if they would make String Saver Saddles for Floyd Roses. Whatever, man. I'm considering purchasing a 2005 NJ series BC Rich sometime (they have regular Official Floyds), so this is useful info to me. I cant gripe about the Speedloader at all, anyway.Sheldon wrote:I thought so. I don't know if they'll be making ones for the speedloader bridge though.
